Monthly surveys of fungi at Tyntesfield, a National Trust Estate near Bristol have been conducted since October 2005. These have identified more than 500 different species and have revealed that the lawns around the House are a nationally important site for Waxcap (Hygrocybe) fungi. The site provides information about fungi in the region bounded by Bristol, Portishead, Clevedon, Weston super Mare, Bridgwater, Glastonbury and Frome.
