Tyntesfield |
|
Tyntesfield, in North Somerset near Bristol, was acquired by the National Trust in 2002, together with an estate that had had minimum upkeep for more than thirty years. During an initial visit in November 2002 and a subsequent visit in October 2005, it was clear that the Estate contained a rich source of fungi. Since then the Estate has been visited regularly in an attempt to identify the fungi present, and by recording their location, to assist the National Trust in their conservation work. Reports advising on the conservation of fungi on the estate were sent to the National Trust at the end of 2005, 2006 and 2007. |
